And you picked Atlanta. hahaha

Lynnette said...

Now that you have your grammar correct, how about spelling my name right. It is pretty funny that you are celebrating so much when you didn't even bother to pick them to win.

Kirk said...

Lynnette he is the "spelling be" champ so give him a break. Hey did anyone else notice certain people trying to steal Kilo and my bit? And what a brutal week. I was so wrong. Obviously everyone took Atlanta and Chicago but I also had Minnesota and Pittsburgh and Dallas and Green Bay. Now there is a loser line up. (this year)

graham said...

I noticed Kirk. Again, I'm good at noticing things.

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

Hey Paul, Did you notice?

Lynnette said...

I am ready for anyone to notice me, I mean I am pushing 30 here. Chris you may not know this, but I wrote my own version of your song "There she goes again" Mine goes like this "There he goes again. Walks right on by and not just for the very first time"

Scottie said...

thanks for your compassion chris... i have developed some thick skin over the years to not let the foolishness that spews from the mouths of perry's to bother me anymore... and by perry's i include maves in there as well... they can't kill me so i must be getting stronger... sweet...

graham said...

Maves is not a perry!!! He is a Maves, and there is only one true Maves. I know this because I am good at noticing things. Also, I love Chris Stephens.

Scottie said...

and by perry's i mean not AP... he's different... perhaps maves is a perry and ap is not... ap is too nice to be related to some of you... yeah, i like AP... he and maves must have been switched at birth...

Kirk said...

Dear Scottie Hussein,

Aaron is related to us you can't have him. Maves is not but I look forward to the day when his daughter marries Graham's son and she becomes one.

Lynnette said...

Ok Graham,

Mom wants to know if she can be a part of the pool from now on. Would anyone object to her starting now, or taking over our retired Nick Graham's score. Oh, and she would also like to add that AP belongs to the Perry's and Maves does not.

Aaron Perry said...

aunt margo is in all the way! "mom things have been disappearing..." can we reenact that skit?

I HEART AUNT MARGO.

[in song, with jason mccutcheon voice]: "aunt margo has to join!"

graham said...

I would love to have mom part of the pool. I have no problem with her taking over Nick Graham's picks. However, I would need to have at least 8 people in this pool say that it is ok. Please let me know!

graham said...

so far we have 4, Graham, Aaron, Chris, Rebecca.

Scottie said...

wow!!! 3 nice perry's in a pool???? that is unheard of... but with margo, rebecca and ap it could happen... go for it... my vote is yes

Kirk said...

I vote no just to provide a little drama.

Scottie said...

has anyone ever been grounded in any of our pools before? kirk could be the 1st... yay margo...

Scottie said...

not nice perry's can't keep me down...

Aaron Perry said...

kirk, how can you resist our plea in song form? "Aunt Margo has to join!"

Lynnette said...

So, so far we have seven as a yes to mom joining the pool.

Lynnette, Graham, Rebecca, Aaron, Chris, Scottie and Dave

So, mom will put in her picks and if she gets one more vote, she can take over Nicks score. I don't think that we will be getting Darrens vote on this one.

My mom wants Kirk to know that he will not be getting any Christmas gifts and Paul "No pictures of you in our home"

Lastly, I am very dissappointed that there isn't an eighth. "I came up with a good idea and you have to come and ruin it all on me." (Do that line in quotes in the "I make myself a little snack and you come and eat it all on me" voice)

The cookie clause is the deal breaker...I think she should have to ship out cookies to each of the poolies as an act of good will...proving her desire to be a part. If I might add...there are many Perry's already in the pool and it seems like they are the borg...wanting me to become one as well. I am flattered but that is the usual response that I drum up from others. I have at least 4 requests a week to join various families around the world. It is a burden but I have gotten used to it. My vote is YES on the condition of Cookies....and Jason McCutcheon should get cookies as well. I look out for him and even though he is not part of the pool...he has requested that I join his family!

graham said...

I think we have enough people. Mom will take over Nick's picks. I too will be waiting for the cookies to be shipped.

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

Hold up here...my "yes" was on the condition of the cookies being delivered. My "yes" is a "no" until I take that first bite...I will advise you on my mouth activity...

graham said...

I will advise you that I could care less what you think. I have 8 with or without you. Good song!

Kirk said...

I think we are losing track of the most important issue. I also vote that Scottie should be grounded bringing that total up to 3. (My mom dissed Scottie that is freakin' sweet)

Lynnette said...

I too would like to vote that Scottie be grounded. I mean I have to live up to being one of the mean Perry's!!

Lynnette said...

Sorry Kirk asked me to put in how many that makes, and that makes 4 votes so far for the "Scottie Grounding" Kirk, Lynnette, Paul and Dave.

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

Yes Graham...you have "8"...I would like to advice you (sugar boy) that with 22 on the list of poolies...you will need 12 votes for a majority and your vote as admin. would not count because you are in a possition of chair. Thus, for my "yes" vote to stand...I would also like cookies from all the Perry's now...except for Paul. He and I share wings. If I do not recieve the cookies...then my vote is "no". I will say sorry to all the other Perry's...it is Graham that has hurt me with his hurtful words.

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

Paul...did you notice?

graham said...

I would like to point out that I am good at noticing things. I would like to tell everyone that I have not noticed anyone giving me a hard time about the votes. So we will continue as planned. May God richly bless everyone today!

Stephanie (aka Not Neves) said...

I am not in the pool. I know nothing about football except that the kids on White Head know less than me because they think Scottie is the best football player ever. But I would like to vote that Scottie be grounded as well. I feel that I have the right to vote as:
1. I hate [love less] the Habs and all Hab lovers.
2. I'm not good with the baking of cookies, but can make awesome frozen dough. I don't have stories about wee Kirky, but have witnessed some of his embarrassing moments...like the time he prayed for Chloe's/Cohen's healing or sang Happy Birthday to Chelsey/Cheyanne.
3. I live to dis Scottie. There is little more [other than the joy of the Lord] that gives me more supernal pleasure in this life. I ascribe to add at least one gem to my dis diadem daily.
Ergo, I vote Scottie be grounded.

Kirk said...

It was handed down from your brother Paul. I know you won't believe me but I only have 1 memory of ever wearing that jersey and that is a person asking me if I liked the Habs while I was at a store in North Gower and at the age of 8 I remember saying. "No I hate the Habs but my parents won't buy me a North Stars Jersey" In retrospect I know it was still wrong to wear it but I am proud of the fact that even at that age I knew how to hate them. (It is kind of funny you got it next Paul because the only other memory I have of it is me peeing on it.

graham said...

I though you gave it to Aaron!

Aaron Perry said...

are you kidding? aaron is the one who destroyed it before he had to wear it. he was the only one with the balls to stand up to the oversight and tyranny!

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

I find it joyous knowing that, as Aaron put it, this "oversight and tyranny" went on. The Perry clan passed around a hab jersey. The hypocrisy of it....wow. Good info though.

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

I want to hit 60 comments.....

Digby Wesleyan Church said...

60....ahhhhhh........that's better....

graham said...

I never touched the jersey
