I did not recieve Angie's picks last week because of internet problems. I got them this week so her total has taken a bit of a jump in the upwards direction. You can stay wih me. I live only a three hour boat ride from Digby. Not that anyone notices. Hey I noticed the Bears are 12-2. At the beginnig of the season I predicted they would finish 14-2. So far so good.
As the voice of inexperience regarding football and it's pools. Am I to understand from the "I lost you at hello" fellow that there are only 2 weeks left?
Hey Lynnette I noticed your comment. There are two weeks left in the regualar season. We usually keep the pool going through the playoffs where the stakes get bigger and the point spreads are doubled then tripled then quadrupled. Feel the excitement.
I notice that Maves has not made any comment this week, and wondered if he was sick or maybe just embarrassed. It's OK Maves. We have all had our bad weeks.
Peter spent the night with me last night! We were up real late until exhaustion finally took over and a wonderful dreamland swept in! I awoke in disbelief...got up...made coffee...and then Peter, with is gorgeous bed head, ascended from down stairs and had breakfast. Then I realized that it was not a dream...it was reality! My life was complete and those memories will live on for generations. For all the talking Peter does...let us just say that his little Christmas sleep over has made this the best Christmas of them all!
Well I royally blew it this week. I will be finishing with less than 50 points. If you got your picks in you gained ground on me. This sucks.
